David James

David James practices personal injury and civil rights litigation in Texas and federal courts. David James has represented plaintiffs at trials in both areas of the law, has presented oral argument to Texas and federal court judges, and has prepared papers including appellate briefs for submission in a variety of cases. Mr. James represented the plaintiffs in two class action matters in federal courts. Prior to joining Edwards Law, Mr. James completed a fellowship with the Texas Civil Rights Project, where he supervised volunteer staff and handled a wide spectrum of civil rights cases.

David James received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law after graduating from Rice University with majors in chemistry and philosophy. He is licensed to practice in Texas, each federal court in Texas, and the federal Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
